Looking at Device Manager, I see three yellow question marks at:
Ethernet-controller
PCI simple communications controller (I don’t know what this entry relates to)
Unknown device (I don’t know what this entry relates to)
When − after placing the Support DVD in the drive − I tried to install drivers by means of the system’s driver update function, Windows reported that no driver was found, regardless if I chose automatic search or manual browsing (including search on the whole Support DVD with search in subfolders selected). For network browsing I use a USB network adapter, which works fine. However, that should not be necessary, of course, with a gigabit onboard network adapter.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions that could help me solve this issue.
