Niagara Falls police officers and Iraq war veteran John Dromoor is flagged down by a 12 year-old girl after she witnesses her mom, Teena, being viciously assaulted and left for dead by a group of local guys.
When the men are captured, their parents employ slick criminal defence lawyer Jay Kirkpatrick, who places the attention on Teena's authenticity, according to her sobriety and promiscuity. Shockingly her assailants are exonerated and released, even though the boy's testimony must have alone been sufficient for a specific conviction.

In the wake of the verdict Dromoor grows increasingly near the victim and her loved ones, who he subsequently finds are being taunted and stalked by the heterosexual guys. The injustice gets too much for him to shoot and, fueled by a feeling of vengeance and his own private demons, Dromoor lays out on a single effort to distribute the justice that the guys deserve.
How provocatively can a girl act before she is asking to be sexually attacked? Just how much, prior to any battering she receives becomes her error, rather than that of her attackers? The solution is obviously that there's not any space a lady can go before she prefers to be raped, but these are the questions being set to the great people of Niagara Falls, NY, in thisparticular, the new movie by director Johnny Martin.

This atmosphere is no doubt bolstered from the star works of the two Don Johnson in strutting peacock manner as cocksure defender Jay Kirkpatrick and of a mostly controlled Nicolas Cage as John Dromoor, the detective chose to dispense justice once the law doesn't. The actual stars here nevertheless are Anna Hutchison as Teena, the casualty of this assault, and Talitha Bateman as Bethie, the woman who watched the whole attack on her mum. I expected to find myself speaking to Miss Bateman as a beginner but that is her fifteenth image and, given her talent on screen here, I actually should not have been amazed.

Besides the rape itself that is brutal but thankfully brief, Vengeance: A Love Story is frequently a tricky watch, by the respective scenes of youthful Bethie being harried within her little town by the relatives and friends of the rapists, into the courtroom scenes where Teena is pulled into bits around again in a totally different but barely less inhuman method. Things regrettably degenerate into more average Nicolas Cage land later on however, this being a straight-to-video affair, which has been always on the cards.
